More Show lessÄear aljmark, Thank you for being frequent guests with us at the Kansas City Airport Marriott. It is very annoying and greatly detracts from the guest comfort. Obviously from all the reviews about the heating/air conditioning in rooms, this is an issue that should be resolved somehow, whatever it will take. Only problem was now had a flood of water in our room from a defrosting refrigerator. Came back to room after dinner and no space heater but T-stat now said heat. Called front desk and requested a space heater. Got to room in the early evening and the T-stat only showed cooling. Second stay, again asked that I have room with heat (outside temp was 40 something and the low was going to be 28). Never got any heat! I was cold and uncomfortable but did not say anything. Called the front desk and somehow engineering answered, indicating that they would be turning on heat shortly. We arrived late at night and, of course, there was no heat. From prior experience I know that this has been an ongoing issue, so before my first stay on November 4, I specifically asked via email to make sure I had heat in the room. I could not help but notice numerous recent reviews that commented about the awful heat/air conditioning issues in the rooms. The staff is always great and I have to give special kudos to Nancy and Mary in the Concierge lounge, Victoria in the temporary restaurant area, Wilson (who cleaned up a flood in our room on second night) and Cara who resolved my issues on second stay. The remodeled rooms are very nice and I'm sure the new restaurant and M lounge will be wonderful when completed. Just completed two separate stays in the same week. We are frequent guests at this hotel and have reviewed it in the past.
